The workshop is open to faculty, graduate students and undergraduate students post-doctoral researchers and professional staff and cover topics ranging from integrity and honour in research, the authorship of science featuring the editor-in-Chief of the magazine Science and a group of teachers.
Highlights of the workshop will be a session on science communication to the public, presented by the American Association for the advancement of science (AAAS).
The programme aims at the natural sciences, social sciences and engineering. For graduate student participants, it should be noted present as an end of non-crédit during transcription.
February 1, a morning on research ethics and compliance research afternoon session will be offered. Students who have already attended sessions of the ethics of research and compliance are welcome, but are not required to attend these sessions again. For the session of the ethics of research, in particular, the rehearsals of the participants, provide a rich perspective in discussions of the case study.
February 2, the author panel session involving professors of the UD and moderated by Beverly Purnell, editor-in-Chief of science, will offer, as well as the meeting of the AAAS Science communication. Two sessions will be repeated morning and afternoon.
Continental breakfast, lunch and breaks are included in the workshop free of charge to participants.

"Furthermore this model has been included in a national discussion on how colleges and universities can meet new federal requirements, National Council of University research administrators eSeminar.
In addition to Community research UD, the program also will host the research collaborators who are part of the Delaware INBRE (network of biomedical research excellence idea) of Christiana care system and Delaware State University.
