Mannan to give the keynote tomorrow (Tamu) Bangladesh

Mr. Sam Mannan, Director of the Centre of Mary Kay security o ' Connor process is scheduled to deliver keynote presentation at Bangladesh University of engineering and technology (BUET) Saturday (December 11).

Mannan, who holds the title of Regents Professor in the Artie McFerrin Department of chemical engineering at Texas A & M, is scheduled to present "security and techniques for sustainable risk management relations. Its address is party to an international course short two-day security and risk management process sponsored by the Forum of chemical engineering at the University.

The abbreviated course is expected to attract a large technical staff which includes engineers chemists, mechanical engineers, safety and health, industrial hygiene staff and operations staff and supervisors maintenance group.

Mannan, an engineer and certified security professional, is internationally recognized on the process of assessing risk and security expert. He is fellow of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, International Institute of refrigeration of ammonia and the National Fire Protection Association. In addition to his many honours professionals and achievements, Mannan has been consultant to numerous entities in both universities and the private sector, including the Columbia Commission investigates accidents.

BUET is the oldest institution for the study of engineering and architecture in Bangladesh. Graduate and undergraduate studies and research are now among the main functions of the University which has produced more than 25,000 graduates in different branches of engineering and architecture while establishing a reputation worldwide for the quality of its programs.
