UCLA's Rick Neuheisel fires 2 football assistants (bostonherald.com)

LOS ANGELES, UCLA Rick Neuheisel football coach fired two of his assistants.

Neuheisel said defensive coordinator Chuck Bullough and coach Reggie Moore were wide receivers being rejected by separate meetings on Saturday.

Bullough, 42, has been on the Bruins [team stats]' staff for five seasons, including the last two as defensive coordinator. Moore, 42, was in its third year.

Neuheisel says that making travelling was in the interest of the program. He said that he would begin the search for a new defensive coordinator immediately, while also continuing to evaluate its entire staff.

The Bruins were generally 4-8 and 2-7 in Cap-10_,_six of its last seven games, losing in the third season of Neuheisel.
